Plain English Summary QuerylensAI is a free Chrome extension. You can use it freely as long as you don't misuse it. We provide it as-is. We're not liable if something goes wrong. Your GSC data is yours and stays in your browser. Read on for the full details.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the QuerylensAI Chrome extension ("Extension"), website at querylensai.com ("Site"), and any related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by QuerylensAI ("we", "us", or "our").

By installing, accessing, or using the Extension, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Extension.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and QuerylensAI. If you are using the Extension on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. What QuerylensAI Does

QuerylensAI is a free Chrome browser extension that:

  • Connects to your Google Search Console account via Google OAuth (read-only)
  • Retrieves and displays keyword performance data from your authorized GSC properties
  • Provides filtering tools to surface keyword ranking opportunities
  • Calculates an "Upside Score" based on position, impressions, and CTR data
  • Allows you to export filtered keyword data to CSV format
  • Optionally builds an AI prompt from your keyword data (and, for page diagnostics, the page you're viewing) and copies it to your clipboard so you can paste it into Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini

All data processing happens locally in your browser. QuerylensAI does not operate a backend server and does not transmit your Search Console data to any third party as part of its core functionality. The one exception is the optional AI prompt feature above, which only shares data with a third-party AI tool if and when you paste it there yourself. See section 4.3 and our Privacy Policy for details.

3. License to Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Extension solely for your personal or internal business purposes.

3.1 Restrictions

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense the Extension or any portion of it
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Extension
  • Use the Extension to build a competing product or service
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
  • Use automated means to access or use the Extension in a way that exceeds normal usage

4. Google Services and Third-Party APIs

QuerylensAI relies on Google's APIs and services to function. By using QuerylensAI, you also agree to be bound by:

QuerylensAI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4.1 GSC Data Ownership

Your Google Search Console data remains your property at all times. QuerylensAI accesses it solely to display it to you and does not claim any ownership or rights over your data.

4.2 GSC Access Permissions

QuerylensAI requests read-only access to your Search Console data. We will never request write, publish, or delete permissions. You can revoke our access at any time through your Google Account settings.

4.3 Optional AI Diagnostic Tools

The "Copy AI Prompt" and "Diagnose This Page" buttons let you send your keyword data (and, for page diagnostics, the page you're viewing) to an AI assistant of your choice by copying a prompt to your clipboard and opening that tool's website. If you paste the prompt into Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini, your use of that tool is governed by the terms and privacy policy of its operator (Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google, respectively), not ours. QuerylensAI is not responsible for how those third parties handle data once you've pasted it into their tools.

Note: QuerylensAI is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC. "Google Search Console" is a trademark of Google LLC.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use QuerylensAI only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not use the Extension:

  • To access Search Console properties you are not authorized to access
  • To violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
  • To transmit unsolicited communications or spam
  • In any way that could damage, disable, or impair QuerylensAI or Google's services
  • To attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks
  • To engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use of the Service

We reserve the right to terminate your access to the Extension if you violate this Acceptable Use Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

The Extension, including its code, design, interface, Upside Score algorithm, and all related intellectual property, is owned by QuerylensAI.

The QuerylensAI name and logo are intellectual property of QuerylensAI. You may not use it without our prior written permission.

You retain all rights to your own data: your Search Console data, your websites, and any CSV files you export using the Extension.

7. Disclaimers and Warranties

THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
  • Warranties that the Extension will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
  • Warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of data displayed
  • Warranties that defects will be corrected

7.1 SEO Results

QuerylensAI provides data and tools to help identify potential SEO opportunities. We make no guarantees or representations about:

  • Improvements to your search rankings or organic traffic
  • The accuracy of the Upside Score or its correlation with actual ranking improvements
  • The completeness or accuracy of data returned by Google's Search Console API

SEO outcomes depend on many factors outside our control. The Extension is a research tool, not a guarantee of results.

7.2 Service Availability

We do not guarantee that the Extension will always be available or function without interruption. Google may change or discontinue APIs that QuerylensAI relies on, which may affect functionality.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, QUERYLENS AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities
  • Damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Extension
  • Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
  • Any loss or damage arising from your reliance on the Extension's data or output

IN NO EVENT SHALL QUERYLENSAI'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID FOR THE EXTENSION IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS. SINCE THE EXTENSION IS FREE, THIS AMOUNT IS ZERO (£0 / $0).

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless QuerylensAI and its owners, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Extension
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of a third party
  • Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations

10. Termination

These Terms are effective from the moment you install the Extension and remain in effect until terminated.

You may terminate these Terms at any time by uninstalling the Extension and revoking Google OAuth access.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Extension immediately, without notice, if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Extension.

Upon termination, your right to use the Extension ceases immediately. Sections 6 (Intellectual Property), 7 (Disclaimers), 8 (Limitation of Liability), 9 (Indemnification), and 11 (Governing Law) survive termination.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Extension shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation.

If you have a dispute with QuerylensAI, please contact us at the address below before initiating any formal proceedings. We will endeavor to resolve disputes promptly and fairly.

For users in the European Union: Nothing in these Terms affects your rights as a consumer under applicable EU law, including the right to bring claims before your local courts.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes:

  • We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
  • For material changes, we will provide notice via the Chrome Web Store listing
  • Your continued use of the Extension after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms

If you do not agree to the revised Terms, please uninstall the Extension.
